Report on Welsh Language

This publication contains data relating to the use of the Welsh language derived from the 2001 Census. Data tables are given for a range of geographical areas in Wales, including community level, unitary authorities, National Assembly regional committee areas, as well as Wales as a whole.
Topics covered include: knowledge of Welsh by sex, age, health, household, occupation and qualifications; Welsh speaking households; migration issues; and welsh language profiles.
