Ceramic Films and Coatings

Divided into two parts, this volume covers the uses of ceramic films for improving wear, oxidation and corrosion resistance, including their use for protecting Ti in prosthetics within the human body. The second part examines the electronic and optical properties of ceramic films including surface acoustic wave devices.
