Diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease novelist Richard Collins resolves to travel the world, searching out its remote places, physically and culturally, while his condition allows. India, Nepal, Turkey, Morocco, Peru and Equador are his destinations, and are set in contrast by Collins to his home in rural Wales.
