Carnival Texts

Includes three related performance texts for undergraduate performance which take Mikhail Bakhtin's theory of Carnival as a starting point for an exploration of physical, moral and cultural upheaval in a post-modern age. In this title, the texts make use of contemporary post-Brechtian performance theory in an attempt to present a new dystopia.
