Anthropology as Ethics

Cutting across social science and the humanities, this book develops the ontological implications of the thesis of the Manchester School of Social Anthropology: that all social order necessarily betrays conflicting underlying principles. It also mounts a study of the ontology of self and other in relation to dualism, as well as non-dualism.
