Pedagogisch sensitief communiceren in het onderwijs is ontwikkeld binnen POINT013. POINT13 is een onderwijsonderzoekswerkplaats met leraren, pabodocenten en onderzoekers die zich richten op beter onderwijs voor leerlingen, ook (hoog)begaafde leerlingen. Leraren uit het primair en voortgezet onderwijs, onderzoekers en lerarenopleiders hebben samengewerkt als multidisciplinair ontwerpteam om Pedagogisch sensitief communiceren in het onderwijs te ontwikkelen. Het idee voor én de behoefte aan dit kaartenset komen voort uit ervaringen, wensen en ideeën vanuit de praktijk. Zo bleek er behoefte te zijn aan een tool ter ondersteuning van het voeren van (complexe) gesprekken met leerlingen, collega’s en ouders en voor het bespreekbaar maken van specifieke thema’s die actueel zijn in het huidige onderwijs. Pedagogische sensitiviteit vormt de basis van dit product.
