US Infantryman in World War II

This title follows one American soldier ("Joe") through his induction, assignment and training in the 22nd Infantry Regiment in 1941. It takes him from draftee stage, through the tactical operations at squad, platoon and company level, and into the reality of combat in Northern Europe in 1944-45.
