Max Scheler saw the anthropological question as providing unity to all philosophical inquiry. So, this book explores four Schelerian conceptions of the human being. The unfolding of these themes opens the reader to a broader and unified view of his philosophy. The book, thus, proposes this approach as a key to understanding Scheler’s philosophy.
